Eiroa First 20 Years

Christian Eiroa and the Eiroa family created Camacho cigars to the forefront from Honduras. The unique flavor profiles that were perfected in the corojo and criollo seeds grown in Honduras changed the game. Davidoff came along years later and bought it from the Eiroa family. Christian stepped away from the game and reinvented himself with a self-named cigar that set an even higher standard of production. The details that Christian finalized in his new production set his new brand a part from anything he did previously.

I’ve known Christian since 2011 when I worked for Davidoff. Throughout the course of watching his growth in the industry, the product has elevated with him. During one meeting we had a few years ago he explained what he did when he took time away from the industry. He said “I planned and planned and planned about planning”. It worked.

Eiroa Cigars have set their individual mark in our industry and solidified Christian as an Intelligent Brand owner. The First 20 is one of those well aged cigars that gives the smoker a perspective of Honduran tobacco, no one else can mimic.

In this episode we talk about Christian Eiroa, blending seminars, blind tasting, taking your time with a Cigar, corojo and the cigar speaking.
